Culturalia
Culturalia is a word coined to describe the "fictional non-fiction" found among TTU writings.
A culturalia piece is an
artifact from a parallel universe. It exists within the TTU setting. As such, it can be viewed and talked about by TTU characters, and it has a "creator" within TTU. It operates under slightly different rules than "pure" fiction. The best way to understand those differences is to read some.
While stories can rely on an omniscient author to occasionally add context and exposition, culturalia -- written from a point of view within the universe -- is likely to assume knowledge that the "creator" would take for granted. This may cause our universe's readers to feel some cognitive dissonance, or the sensation of only seeing a small sliver of a wide and strange new world. Of course, some would argue that's entirely the point. ;-)
