Summary

After The Changes, furry conventions find themselves facing tough logistical choices: How far can they go to welcome the therianthropes that many consider to be the cons' natural audience? As Furconium 1997 draws to a close, staff members and attendees look back at the compromises that were made to keep the event running smoothly.

• Furconium is loosely based on two real conventions held in the San Francisco area: Further Confusion∞, held every January, and BayCon∞, held every May. Yes, before you ask, its third year was referred to as "cubic furconium"; who could pass up that pun? ;-)
