As Furconium 1997 draws to a close, staff members and attendees look back at the compromises that were made to keep the event running smoothly.

Speaking from long experience, I can say that Furconium's logistical struggles aren't indicative of mismanagement -- even the best-run cons see staff members in a perpetual state of low-grade panic. Given the additional hurdles of The Changes, they turned in a truly heroic performance.
