As easy as it might be to write TTU's Christians asfundamentalist "bad guys" oppressing the poor theris,
reality is always much more complex. And the moral
lines are far from clear ... especially for the characters
struggling to understand how it all fits together.

- Some similar exploration of religious sentiments and the religious reaction to TheChanges is done in the later sections of StoryNotesFromTheEnd.
- There was also some discussion of the story's religious themes after it was released (the author, who is not actually Christian, requested feedback).
- In general, feedback from my Christian friends on this story has been positive, although the (legitimate) criticism has been made that Jesus is mysteriously absent from the pair's discussion. I stand by the expressed train of thought, but if I were ever to overhaul the story, there's definitely room to expand the discussion and add a great deal more New Testament in. - BaxilDragon
